Best little nail show in Texas

Well I’m back y’all! I returned earlier this week from the best little nail show in Texas. The show was awesome, as was the nail competition. I met so many wonderful people. Like Lauren from wildflowers, Holly Schipper, The fingernail fixer Jan Arnold, a co founder of CND, and many more!

This was the first time I’ve ever been to this nail conference, but won’t be the last!

Between competing, taking classes, and shopping the day of the show, it was a FULL weekend.

The first day, I competed in 2 competitions for Nailympia. First, was gel mani. That should have been the easiest, but ended up being the most difficult, due to issues I had with the polish. Ugh! I will deification know what to do different next time.

The second, was “salon nails.” I was happy that I was able to complete the nails in the time allotted, and pretty happy with my results, Woohoo!

The third competition was the second day, it was tips with liquid and powder overlay. This was the one I was nervous about. But again, I completed it in the time allowed. I also took a class by Profiles that was great. I loved learning from Amy and Traci!

There was also a meet and greet with an awesome motivational speaker. Her name was Jen Plamck. Jen was so inspiring and I’m so glad I was able to see her.

Sunday was SHOPPING DAY! And I sure made a dent! At 3:30 the awards started.

I was extatic to win second place in 2 out of the 3 categories that I competed in! I felt so blessed..

Monday we took  a class by IBD with Nikki Peyton. She was awesome and fun and we learned some new gel art, as well as last minute shopping. I told myself, I was NOT going to buy anymore polish! Well clearly that didn’t happen..

All in all, the best little. Ail show in Texas was wonderful!

  3. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help stop content from being ripped off? I’d definitely appreciate it.
